National Homeownership Month

National Homeownership Month

June is National Homeownership Month, and the City of Houston Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) is spotlighting the full journey of homeownership, from opening doors for first-time buyers to helping families repair, preserve, and remain in the homes they love.

Because homeownership starts with opportunity and continues with preservation.

Throughout the month, HCD will highlight programs, resources, and stories that reflect our work to support Houstonians at every stage of the homeownership journey.

Stay tuned all month long as we share updates on resident stories, and helpful resources designed to help families move forward.
