September 8, 2026 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 3800 Hickock Lane about 12:35 a.m. today (September 8).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. LaFour and Detectives L. Jumonji, D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a crash at the above address and observed a vehicle crashed into a tree. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male inside the vehicle deceased. Officers located bullet casings on the street.

At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
