April 06, 2026 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 1000 Marcolin Street about 3:25 a.m. on Sunday (April 5).

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. LaFour and Detective A. Beiza reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located a vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant and a male laying face down in the grass suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
